The Overseers (Spiritual Oversight)
The Custodians
Katie Harrison, H.O.P.E.S. Chair of Trustees, Overseer and Member
Katie has grown up and lived in East Sussex for most of her life. She has a deep desire to see Jesus glorified in this region and has invested into this vision through heading up the Hastings 24-7 Prayer team locally since 2007. She has had the joy of running key intercessory worship events, including Praise to the King in 2007, as well as Hastings Handel’s Messiah in 2016 at Hastings Castle. She has also facilitated inter-church prayer and worship relays.
She currently works with special needs children and is a Trustee and volunteer at Hope Kitchen, the local town centre soup kitchen.
Susie Molina, H.O.P.E.S. Trustee, Overseer and Member
Susie, a German national, has lived in the UK since 2007. After being part of a house of prayer in the West Midlands, Susie moved to East Sussex and became involved in coordinating regional prayer and worship events encouraging unity across the Churches. Over the course of this journey, her heart was stirred by the Lord to see a house of prayer established in this region where Jesus is eventually worshipped day and night with His presence evident in power.
Susie has been creating individually designed prophetic journals and cards since 2013 and has worked for the educational pro-life organisation CBR UK from 2016 to 2022 as presenter and head of national educational teams. She is married to Mario, an Ecuadorian national, and they live in St. Leonards-on-Sea with their son Amos.
Rev. Chris Sears, H.O.P.E.S. Trustee, Overseer and Member
Chris has worked as a minister for 41 years and has previously served under the ministries of Don Double and Reinhard Bonnke. He has a deep heart to see Holy Spirit revival in this region and pastors His Place Church, which includes His Place Cafe, a missional outreach in Hastings town centre. Chris was instrumental in the setting up of Bethel prayer rooms, the initial prayer base of Hastings 24-7 Prayer. He also co-founded Hope Kitchen where he served as a Trustee and volunteer for 15 years.
Chris and his wife Margaret have been married for 50 years and have partnered in ministry for most of that time, being based mainly in Hastings. They have a daughter, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who they enjoy spending time with.
Carole and Andrew Dreeling
Carole and Andrew have lived in East Sussex for over 15 years and have extensive ministry experience in healing, counselling, prayer and outreach. They have previously been involved with Crowhurst Healing Centre and the Hastings town-wide outreaches, such as Hastings Easter Festival, the Catalyst program, Hastings Christian school workers and much more. Andrew is a teacher by occupation and Carole is a qualified Christian counsellor. They consider it a great privilege to stand on the shoulders of the faithful work of previous custodians.
Carole and Andrew currently reside in the private flat at the Coach House. They have five grown up children and 13 grandchildren.
