We did it because He did it!

He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come Lord Jesus! May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people. Rev. 22:20-21

At 6.49am on Resurrection Sunday a small group read these words.

Over 75 people from lots of different churches over 95 hours read God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation. It was an amazing experience to see a thirst for God’s word and get to know so many brothers and sisters.

Our  prayer was that the Lord would speak through each person’s reading slot to show us new insights (Psalm 119:105) and we believe He did. We know He spoke to us !

We were greatly encouraged that all the reading slots were filled by Wednesday night and we thank God for all of encouragement, witness and love that the Body of Christ has shown. We are so grateful to all those who took part for partnering with us in this event to commence God’s work in and through the work of HOPES!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

It was no coincidence that we finished on the morning of Resurrection Sunday. It is a reminder of His faithfulness to us. Many of you will know that the Coach House has needed major work (both externally and internally) to make it safe for the worship and exaltation of our Lord and Saviour by His people. This has not been easy but we have been blessed with His gifts and presence throughout. The work isn’t finished yet and there is still much to be done but we believe He is faithful (Prov. 3:5-6).

It has also reminded us that we are ‘under construction’, and we have had to do a lot of inner work with the Father to prepare us for what lies ahead. This work will continue for all of us as we move “from glory to glory” (2 Cor. 3:18) as we move closer to Him.

Because of Jesus’s sacrifice we can claim this victory and say: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us..” (Eph. 2:10)

We have seen God’s masterpieces in action this week and it has shown us that we need each other to show us Christ (both in word and deed), and that it’s only in His presence that we are changed. We want to see the presence of God at the Coach House 24-7 and we will be seeking His way and will in how to do this over the coming weeks.

We pray that you will continue with us on this journey of knowing and loving Him more, and we ask for your prayers as we seek the Lord’s guidance on what he would like to see at the Coach House.

“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light. Col. 1:9-12

SHALOM!
