Welcoming North Devon House of Prayer

We had the great joy and privilege to be hosting a team of twelve from the North Devon House of Prayer from the 2nd to the 5th of December. The highlights of this weekend were several anointed worship times led by the NDHOP team as well as a time of outreach on Saturday afternoon when the interns took turns in leading worship while other team members along with the HOPES team served hot drinks and mince pies to members of the public who came into the house to warm up. The love of Jesus and the good news was shared with many, and several visitors said they felt a strong peace in the house as they sat down whilst listening to the worship. It was particularly special to have so many children visit us!

On one of the days, Jim Ware, leader of NDHOP, shared insight from Revelation 4:6-10 “Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. […] And they do not rest day or night, saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!’” Jim highlighted that the creatures closest to the throne of God are entirely occupied with praising the Lord and ministering to His heart day and night, which deeply touches Him, and how this should inspire us to do the same as we seek more closeness in our walk with God.

We are so grateful for the rich blessing the team of NDHOP brought and praise God for this wonderful connection with another house of prayer in our nation..
