Hope

When everything is dreary and depressing
When all the world is dark and full of pain
Look up and see through what the worlds suppressing
And see what joy and peace you can attain

The promises of God are what we hope for
The promises of God are what we seek
The things He says we’ll have are what we long for
Especially when we’re feeling low and weak

So don’t give up on God and what His Word says
And focus on the future as He asks
Pay full attention to our Saviour’s lifestyle
And keep on hoping as one of your key tasks.
